Design

This is the largest and most complex board in the system. It allows the PIC microcontroller to connect to all other peripherals in the system.

It has 3 power rails, 3.3V, 5V and 9V. The input power is 9V, and 2 buck converters regulate the 3.3 and 5V rails.

There are 2 switches which allow controlling modes (read from gps/sensors or write data to PC) and submodes (turning on various components).

It has 2 SPDT switches which allow the PIC to use the same serial connectors to read/write from the gps module, and read/write to the PC.
